A United Approach

As Western Australia’s leading reintegration service, ReSet provides person centric services on both sides of the fence… and its making a difference by rebuilding lives and breaking the cycle recidivism. ReSet is a case management system that is achieving real outcomes by connecting with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal adults who are at medium to high risk of re-offending and their families across nine prisons in and around the metropolitan area of Perth as well as referred offenders transitioning from regional areas. By engaging ReSet, offenders have access to an integrated suite of tailored, culturally competent services that are built around evidence based approaches and delivered by a team of specialist case workers who walk alongside people in the pre-release phase and continue to support them through a range of social, health, economic and personal challenges in the community. The strengths based response to the needs of offenders is a key component to the success of ReSet as it responds to identified needs and highlights areas where support is required.
ReSet is a consortium with a shared vision consisting of Wungening Aboriginal Corporation as the lead agency, Centrecare Incorporated, St Bartholomew’s House Incorporated, and Wirrpanda Foundation Limited. Each organisation are specialists in their field and bring their expertise of parenting programs, reintegration services and employment and training. ReSet is an effective collaboration that is providing innovative reintegration services.
